My Initial Ideas

My idea is to create a campaign that promotes the health awareness around Conory heart disease. I would like to create very strong visuals in the production of the advert as it's a very important subject of health that more people need to be aware of.

I would like to raise awareness of the symptoms that come with cardiovascular disease.

I want to use a balloon as a metaphor for the heart. I could do many different things with a balloon such as: show it deflated with string resembling fat around it, or balloons popping (maybe with red paint inside)

I have also thought about using a strawberry as a metaphor for the heart. The film 'Across the universe' inspired this idea because the main character pins a strawberry to a white canvas, I would use it as a metaphor for the heart and it being damaged by the causes of cardiovascular disease and bleeding by the puncture by the pin. The strawberry would be a very relevant as a metaphor because: it's red, almost strawberry shaped and it is healthy so it's becomes more ironic.

I would like to focus on a metaphor of a heart going through a journey throughout the advert. I want it shot it on a completely black background to represent how black the situation of the damaged heart is. I was contemplating have the heart of a male around 50 (as that's the target audience); however i only want to focus on the heart and not shoot anything other than the journey of the heart. Perhaps I would have voices in the background to illustrate a norm and the reality of the situation, which may aid the strength of the visuals. I also thought of having a beat throughout which acts as enough metaphor for the heart-beat. I also thought that I would edit a string of still images of the heart going through this journey as it will need to be adjusted slightly in order to appear it's changing in some way. I also thought maybe I would zoom the camera in and back out in the appearance of a heart-beat again to reinforce the audio of the heart beat; I would also like to add white text in at the end against the white background and again remain to appear beating accompanied with the audio.
